Course Description: This presentation will provide attendees with insight into management and control of common injuries in the moving industry. The course will primarily address hazards and controls related to materials handling, ergonomics, walking and working surfaces and weather-related factors.

Speaker Bio: Jon is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and serves as a Safety Management Consultant with SAIF Corporation (Oregon’s not-for-profit, state-chartered workers’ compensation insurance company) providing ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety and total worker health management consultation services for policy holders. He holds a degree in Environmental Health from Purdue University and has over 30 years environmental health and safety leadership and management experience in both the public and private sectors.
